Cuba 2012

Last month, my husband and I traveled to Cuba with an educational group,
Cross Cultural Journeys.

One of the highlights for me was visiting
ISA Universidad De Las Artes, an art school in Cuba.
The design of the school was inspired by male and female anatomy.

Seven Days

Pamela Polston wrote a great Article about the space my studio is in, here it is...

A South End Building Opens Up New Space for Artists

Studio Moved!

My art studio has moved out of my home and into Burlington,
266 South Champlain Street!

I'm blessed with lots of windows, warm bright southern light and tons of space.

And a print press of my own.
My beautiful Whelan Xpress and I are just getting to know each other.

Art @ 830 Caroline Street, Key West

This past June through November I was being represented by Art@830 a wonderful Gallery in Key West, FL. The Gallery was showing a selection of my series Key West Bound.

(A peak through the window, they were closed the day I had my camera.)

The Key West Bound series is about a sense of place and Key West's fragile and yet insistent ability to thrive. Key West's rich interconnected web of life is bound by her location set out in the sea, weather patterns and all manner of visitors- human, flora, and fauna. The diverse manifestation of life and beauty make me appreciate the vibrancy and joy of being alive. In creating and sharing these images inspired by Key West, I hope to have people slow down, take notice, connect, and take care of this special and unusual place.
