As an ongoing partnership between Shelburne Farms and Burlington City Arts, Of Land and Local: Watershed combines the missions of both organizations and supports artist led conversations about social, ethical, and political issues impacting the Vermont landscape, culminating in exhibitions at both locations.

Casey has also made available a variety of originals, unframed that fit any 8x10 frame - these make thoughtful gifts for the holiday, all Vermont-made and local! Also available are Casey’s card sets of her botanical works and coffee-themed prints, ideal for stocking stuffers, swap gifts or even hostess gifts. Casey Blanchard in 2015 Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Fall Art Exhibit

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center has opened its 2015 Fall Art Exhibit with Shelburne, VT artist, Casey Blanchard, among the six artists selected for the show. The DHMC Fall Exhibit, running now through December, is displaying Blanchard’s work in its Level 5 Rotunda. Blanchard’s images lend themselves well to the affirming effects art has on healing, many of her prints are currently in hospital private collections. Blanchard has eleven monoprints on display illustrating the diversity of her work and artful use of organic elements often found in her prints. Among her works are two digital images of her “Looped” series, printed on 32” aluminum panels. This is a new medium Blanchard has been working with for its affect with her art, and for its protective and frameless benefits. Blanchard’s work in its original size is luminescent and contemplative, a larger scale takes those elements to an even greater dimension. DHMC is located at One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH. For more information on Blanchard, visit her website at www.caseyblanchard.com or visit her studio at Brickwork Art Studios, 266 South Champlain, Burlington, VT (call ahead!).

Casey Blanchard at Frog Hollow for the month of October

Frog Hollow has given Casey an opportunity to show her art in their Burlington Church Street gallery.  She will have six of her framed works on display for purchase, along with her note cards, and a sweet collection of original unframed pieces that fit in a standard 8x10 frame.  She offers a variety of choices that make for great gifts for any occasion from holiday to wedding.  Being in the company of so many great artists at Frog Hollow is an honor.  It is Casey's hope that the community agrees that her artwork is a good fit for Frog Hollow which would allow her an extended stay at the gallery.  Come by Frog Hollow and show your support for Casey!
